Hello, looking out my window I have seen two very bright stars right on top of each other.

1. They are the only stars in the sky.

2. The first star that comes out every night is not there.

3. They are not moving.

4. I live in Western Pennsylvania

5. NO OTHER STARS ARE OUT!

    Those are not stars.

Those are the planets Venus and Jupiter, and when they're close together like they are now, it's called a conjunction.

This particular conjunction is especially noteworthy because these planets are [1] about as far from Sun as they can appear in the sky and still be close to each other [2] they're the 3rd and 4th brightest objects in the sky (Sun and Moon are the first two).

Although Venus and Jupiter have conjunctions every few years, about once every 40 years or so, the two planets and Moon are all three in a conjunction. On Monday night, go out and look and you'll see all three of them right close to each other: Venus, Jupiter, and a thin crescent Moon! Apparently the triple conjunction of a crescent Moon, Venus, and Jupiter is such a sight to see that it is reported to have inspired many poets and prophets to write all sorts of things.

    Happy skywatching!

This is fantastic freeware that you can download. it is an interactive star chart. Tell it where you are and it will tell you what you see. Ask it where something is and it will tell you. This will answer this question for you now plus many more like these in the future.

Those are or planets, what you people don't know is that NASA and other world space organizations are keeping it quiet to prevent a panic by our people. There is an Asteroid on a direct course for Earth. People please don't panic, but due to our calculations it will hit some where in the western hemisphere don't know exactly but we fear a large city. sorry that i have to say this to the public, but it is expected to arrive sometime early next year. Can't tell you when. But please to the public. warn your people and your families an prepare yourself for the lost that is yet to come.
