How inexpensive is inexpensive? And how far south is southern?

Hot Springs--The Wedding Chapel...they will do everything and anything, from wedding to reception, food, photography, etc. See first link...

How about one of the Margland Inns in Pine Bluff? They're B and B's....You could take over the place and have a wedding in the garden. They've done this before, it's part of their schtick. You could also have your immediate family stay with you so it would be easier to have the wedding party all organized on the day. See second link.

There's inexpensive and there's really inexpensive. The really inexpensive range might include a wedding in a local community center. Or if it's a really small wedding, at a local B&B (if you're having a ceremony in their backyard, make sure they have an back-up room like a library or a parlor available in case it rains).

There are also some nice old/historic hotels in AK that are not pricey (especially for weeknight events) but not inexpensive, like:

I know you said you aren't looking for a church, but you don't have to be religious to think this place is just absolutely beautiful. I went to a wedding there earlier this year and it's the nicest one I've ever been to. There's a Double Tree resort nearby that has a place for the reception.
