how do Americans feel about open criticism of their way of life?

That is the beauty of living in a free Country, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

So long as it is constructive criticism, and not just plain mean remarks, we are always open to new ideas, and maybe there really is a better way of doing things. I am open to suggestions.....thank you

Open criticism about our way of life serves as a constant reminder that there are other people besides us, living on this planet, since it seems when talking about Americans, it's pretty much a constant criticism from everyone.

Like when outsiders call us lazy because we are from a free country and they don't understand that because they might come from a disrupted country like some parts of Africa or Iraq and they laws was cruel making them do lots of work. Being form America. America is like the parent and Americans are the spoiled kids.

I really like it. I love being criticized. It makes me feel alive.

We are so used to the jealousy that we laugh, All the America bashing is nothing but envy
