Hope is making a comeback. A hope that a glib political neophyte like Obama can replace a substantive and courageous leader like Bush. Kerry used the non-word "equivocable" in 2004.

Funny how Bush is an idiot for saying misunderestimated but when FDR said "normalcy" (not a word at the time) they added it into the dictionary. Wait, was FDR a democrat? Oh, I get it now.

Blanket statements damage genuinely genuinely everyone. ;-) i imagine it really is quite user-friendly to trust that folk who've different beliefs from you're in some way stupid or otherwise inaccurate. I propose, in the journey that they were authentic, you'll trust them, authentic? regrettably, we (we being the collective we) frequently ignore that events and international locations are made up of persons and one length does not in tremendous condition all. i comprehend Republicans who're professional-gay rights. i comprehend Democrats who're interior the defense force. Generalizations come from the idea we've of the individuals of a celebration/u . s . a . that are the most vocal and public... that is going for both the human beings who say issues like you said above. It also is going for individuals who (i am going to admit, i'm responsible of this) trust that others quite trust/say this stuff with any style of frequency.

It's just what they have learned from watching O'Reilly and Limbaugh. They are nothing but a bunch of bulling windbags. When they lose an argument they start screaming "shut-up" and calling names like "stupid". It's the best defense they have, you really have to feel sorry for them. I know I do.

  • People misspeak all the time. I'd rather deal with that then someone who misstates the number of states in the United States. Makes me wonder how he (Obama) would do on the show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" since the number of states is taught in 1st grade civics class.

I'll leave you with this to ponder. Detroit MI only graduates 21.7% from high schools but votes 90% Democrat. What is one to infer from that statistic?

"Misunderestimated" has become one of my very favorite words.

English is an evolving language and this is a wonderful addition to it.

It says what it means and means far more than what many people may think that it says.

It is a very precise term.

George Walker Bush has been seriously misunderestimated and history will have a far better understanding of his administration and his achievements than is currently believed.

It has to do with the policies liberals like, it has nothing to do with intelligence.

I could care less about who the smartest person in the room is. They generally do not have the most success in life anyway, they end up a professor or teacher, maladjusted and unhappy. I look for the person who has morals, good judgment, honesty and happy with life.

We could go back & forth about who said stupid things, so I wouldn't concern myself with others opinions.

You need to take the long-view.

Bush knows that his political legacy is in the crapper, but he's developed an entirely new language...Bush-speak, or Bushisms,

His malapropisms guarantee his place in History.

It's synonymous with the saying "bad publicity is better than no publicity at all".

"why do republicans call democrats stupid?"

Because they voted for "change", which we all knew was the same people who've been running washington for years.

Bush isn't my man, he's almost as big of a socialist as Obama.

Although you do have to give him credit for keeping any attacks off of US soil for 7 years. Too bad Clinton didn't get Osama when he had a chance after the first time he bombed WTC.

Probably because people started following Obama like he was Christ because he said he would give them "Hope"... Hope is not something someone gives you, it is something you have during moments of desperation...

the 57 state thing was one slip up bush had several, not including McCain calling his supporters his fellow prisoners.

i agree. republicans have no room to talk since most of them are from the south and can't read,
