A program called Multiplicity created by Stardock might help you out. It allows two computers to be controlled at the same time.

I haven't used it but it seems like a great idea.

A KVM only shares your Keyboard, Video and Mouse (hence, KVM), which is probably why you can't find anything about data transfer in the manual (I think you're expecting a bit too much from it there!). None of the things you mention are to do with the KVM. They are networking related. Anyway.. 1. If you set up shares over a network 2. No (unless you set up something like Novell) 3. No (unless its a program that can run standalone) 4. No

invest in a KVM switch one monitor keyboard and mouse and two computers one button to switch back anc forth
