Girls: how much do you shave/wax "down there"?

What's expected/normal? What should I have done?

Thanks!

My gf shaves it all, except for a small patch that is trimmed neatly. She noticed that I enjoyed the benefits of her "grooming efforts" and so she suggested I shave/trim myself to return the favour for her. It seems that, as a result, we both enjoy the results of each others "labour".

Shave all of it, to prevent bumps shave the same way the hair grows.

Just shave all of it, it'll feel weird at first but after 2-3 days it'll feel fine.
