Should I get an associates degree?

I'm planning to transfer to a four year university and receive a bachelors degree, should I get an associates degree as well while I'm still at a community college? Or is it unnecessary, since I plan to continue my education.

yeah i would definitely get your associates. It will make it a lot easier to transfer because you can just transfer your degree as opposed to transferring all your classes. I am getting an associates in pre-engineering, then transferring to a four year university. plus you will have another degree to hang on your wall

It isn't necessary, but most people do, since you need to spend two years at a community college before you can transfer, in most cases.
