Should My First Car Be A BMW or LEXUS?
I'm getting my first car in January I just turned 21yrs old, I didn't get a car sooner is because I change my mind a lot on what I want plus I didn't have a license (but still drove anyway). I grew up around a lot of my families Mercedes, Jaguars, Cadillac & even an Enzo which I'm not a fan of those cars. Now I'm stuck between the BMW 650i or M6 and the LEXUS IS-F I am a big fan of upgrades like Body Kits, Rims, & Performance Upgrades, I've driven both but can't pick l would love to have both but I have only a limited amount of cash for one car plus 15,000-23,000 for upgrades because this is out of my own bank account not my families. So what do you guys think is best, from "Value to all around look, style & Available Upgrades? P.S. Buy a house if you have 85,000 plus to spend on a car. Then get an economical car like a hybrid. The value will significantly go down after a year and insurance will be out the a**.

My vote goes for BMW because I have one and love it, but I've heard their repair costs are very high. My dad had a Lexus for many years and never had any problems with it. I guess it depends on the model that you want. If you're buying new then go with BMW and if you're buying used then get a Lexus. Both are nice though and you wont be disappointed with either one.

Can't really go wrong w/ any of those choices. M6 is a major gas guzzler though. Don't know too much about 650i's. ISF's are ugly but good. If ur interested in an ISF you might really want to consider the new BMW M3 sedan as I think that's a better alternative and so do the people in Top Gear in the latest episode.

In my normal person opinion, I would take either. But I do like the BMWs, and a Lexus.... Just a Toyota. As far as the poster that boasts a Hemi....... Ha!!! thats exactly what would happen to that piece on the track.... laughed off of it....

If I had that kind of money I would try the new Dodge Challenger just for kicks. Sharp car! Obviously if you didn't like it, you could trade.
