Moving to Pittsburgh, PA?
my boyfriend got into duquesne law school and we are looking at different apartments for us to move in to if he decides that he wants to go there....
are there any particular apartment complexes...particular streets...particular surrounding nearby towns....to absolutely stay away from..due to a safety problem?
and also if there are any particular areas you all would recommend looking at to live....it would be a huge help
thanks guys

Well, the area surrounding Duquesne, the Hill District, is quite dangerous, I wouldn't recommend living there at all.
If he's bringing a car or willing to get a bus pass, I would recommend Oakland, the area of the city where the University of Pittsburgh is located. There are a lot of young students around in apartments.
If you're willing to go even farther out from Downtown, try Squirrel Hill or Shadyside. Duquesne is accessible by both car and bus from those areas.
Good luck finding a place in Pittsburgh!
