Do you believe that Brian Nichols should get the death penalty or should he be shown mercy?

If you do not know who Brian Nichols is he is a man who was charged with rape of his girlfriend while in court took an officer gun shot and killed her a judge and two more state officials. He also shot and wounded other officials, carjacked and kidnapped another who was release shorty after being kidnapped. His lawyers have been trying to get a mistrial and his family members and friends wants mercy given to him. What should he get in your opinion.

I have been looking at this story daily. They have finally finished the evidence part. his former pastor was the last one on the witness stand. I think they are going to sentence him to life w/o parole.

He should have been killed before sundown the first day it happened.  This is an example of the system being made a mockery of.

I think life in prison, no parole - with absolutely no benefits, like tv, radio, newspapers...Nothing!  Let him stare at the walls day in and day out.  Those were awful crimes he committed.
