Well i just did that last week. Mine came with a software cd, Motorola Phone Tools. Its awesome. all i did was put that in the computer, and intalled it step by step and then it tells you to plug in the usb cable. After that, in the Moto Phone Tools program you click music or data transfer and go to the folder that your music is stored in and double click! Its easy. You can do this with pictures too.

    1) Are you paying for your data download? If not then you aren't paying for the service that allows you to download music and that's your problem.

    2) There's a book that came with your phone known as the "users manual." Read it, it tells you how to work your phone, it's your friend. Different service provider's phones are set up different from each other. On my Razr one of the soft keys is set to the "music" application on my phone.

    3) If you are still having a problem take your phone into a local store for your cell service supplier and talk to a worker there. They will help you figure out how to work your phone if you can't. Usually they don't charge (in my expierience) for the simple stuff.

The answers above are right on! If you want to see if your phone has the ability to download music, go to the motorola support website: http://www.motorola.com/consumer/v/index.jsp?vgnex...

Then choose your model of phone, either from the dropdown menu or from the "which phone do I own" page (which has pictures).

Like the other people said, there are many models of RAZRs and many different carriers, so you need to identify which model you have first.

Once you find the exact model (e.g. V3, V3i, V3x, V9 etc etc), you can get specific information from the dedicated support page for that model. Many of the support pages even have online tutorials that take you step by step through many set up features.

If you end up purchasing MPT (motorola phone tools), there is even a support page that can help you to install, use and troubleshoot that application. (www.motorola.com/support/mpt)

    Good luck!

It depends on what version of the Razr phone you have. If it is a V3i or newer it has a music player on it, if not it won't let you download full songs. Open your phone and hit the upper left button that says options (on your screen, the button underneath the word Options), a list of options will come up on the V3i the third option is music player. If your phone is doesn't have this option then its not the newer version. The first couple of Razrs that came out I don't think are capable of playing full songs.

It depends on who you have service through, and what model of Razr it is.

They had a few Razr's a while ago, model number Motv3c, that don't have the ability to do music, but there was the model Motv3m that does have the ability to do music.
