  • I Need Help Creating/Choosing a Personalized Vehicle Tag?

I got a 2013 Challenger R/T, white with red stripes, for Christmas this year. I want to get a personalized license plate for it but I can't seem to come up with anything really catchy. I would love some suggestions if anyone has any. A little more information....I live in Arkansas, we are allowed a total of seven letters and/or numbers, no punctuation, and of course they won't allow anything sexually suggestive, drug related, racially biased, etc. etc. Thanks for any help anyone could give.

  • Arkansas Auto Insurance Question?

I have a 1999 Mustang that I carry full coverage on and I live in Arkansas. Someone recently cut two places in my convertible top, all the way through. When I went to the claims office for their inspection, the claims specialist informed me that since this is a wear & tear part on the vehicle they will figure out the life expectancy of the particular part and they will depreciate it accordingly. I don't pay a depreciated premium because my car is a 99 model...why do they get to depreciate things on it? Does this sound like normal practice?

  • XBox 360 Elite - Help!!?

My son has an XBox 360 Elite, supposedly the one with the upgraded fan. He has treated that game system like it was his first born child...very particular about who even gets to touch it : ). Yesterday he tried to play a game that he had been previously playing for the last two days; the screen went red and black checkered on the television and there were red rings lit up around the power button on the XBox. I've heard all about the red rings of death on the XBox and would have thought this was the case except there are four rings to make a complete circle and only three of the rings are red and not always. Does anyone have any suggestions of what might be wrong and what, if anything, can be done with it?? Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to get my son an IPod Touch for his birthday, the one that does everything an IPhone does except make calls but I don't know which one to look for...Thanks for any help

  • Mistaking Kindness for Weakness...and apparently for stupidity!?

I will make this short because I've seen questions like this on here before...I have a boyfriend of three years, on and off, because of an illness I have for the second time I've needed him to be home to help me with my son (he is 12 years old) and to just be there in case anything bad happened, like I needed to go the ER or something...like I said for the second time he has acted like I'm inconveniencing him and not only did not come home but ended up staying out all night...I would love to be able to tell him I would rather be alone than with someone who is so disrespectful and irresponsible, but I can't find it in my heart to do so. Also, I just bought a car from a dealer that he is familiar with and whom he has done business with in the past. The dealer asked him to co-sign the loan since the dealer knew him but didn't know me...this is one of those second chance dealerships that finance in house. I'm afraid he will try to take my car if we were to break up...Any suggestions? I know I deserve better, but I was once told you can't help who you love...but I feel a little like a doormat. For the record he is almost 39 years old!

  • State of Arkansas - Vehicle Title Laws?

I don't know if the laws differ from state to state, that's why I included my state, but I would like to know if someone co-signs on a car loan does their name go on the title of the car? The place where the car was financed is one of those second chance car lots that does in house financing; basically, they were wanting a contact whom they knew personally to co-sign for someone whom they did not know. Thanks for any help you can offer...I've searched the Internet for an entire day and couldn't find an answer...

  • Student Loans & Bankruptcy?

After four years of college, part time at a two year college, I still do not have my degree, I have gotten a divorce, and ended up having to file bankruptcy because of some things my ex-husband done right before our divorce was final. My lawyer advised me that Federal Student Loans cannot be included in a bankruptcy; however, I am curious to know if that includes student loans that have been consolidated through an organization such as EdFinancial. Does anyone have any knowledge about this issue?

  • Need to connect HP 3600n Printer to Two Computers...?

I am probably over thinking this and its easier than it looks...I have a desktop that my HP 3600n printer is connected directly too, I have another desktop in another office connected to the Internet and a wireless router so I have internet access on the other desktop also. My question is can I somehow network the printer that is connected to my desktop so that the other desktop can print to it also but without any cables running all over the place...in essence, I guess I'm wanting to print to the HP from the desktop that it is NOT wired too. I hope I haven't made this too confusing...thanks for any help...

  • Taxes on an early pension payout...?

I took an early pension payout when I left my job after 11 years. Instead of reinvesting the money I used it to pay off all my bills except my vehicle, i.e. credit cards, late doctor/hospital bills, etc. I paid state and federal taxes on the money before it was ever given to me, and I paid a penalty for early withdrawal. On my taxes the next year, the sum I was actually paid was added to my taxable income, throwing me into a higher tax bracket as a single person and now I owe the IRS big time. I am confused as to how this is not taxing the same money twice. I added up the total tax on the pension money and if correct my portion of that money that I worked for would have ended up being $1,500.00 (the pension was only $23,600.00 and I ended up with a little over $16,000.00 when they took the first set of taxes out). I had a certified account do my taxes for me but I think there must be a mistake somewhere. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

  • What do you think would be a fair solution?

And if my 1/3 solution does seem fair, how would I approach him about it without it looking like I'm just jealous of the things he does for his family?

  • Chantix - Risky or Not?

Has anyone, who is not in the pharmaceutical industry, had any experience with the stop smoking medication Chantix? If so, was it bad or good? I have been on the medication for six days and I really haven't noticed any differences at all in my behavior, my sleep pattern, etc., none of the areas in which everyone warns you about. My family is having an absolute fit because I'm on this medication. I'm recently divorced, live by myself, and they are worried to death I'm going to kill myself!! I have never considered myself someone who would even think of doing something like that. I don't know if I should continue the medication or not...

  • Need Hard Drive Help...?

I want to buy my son a XBox 360 for Christmas but I can't afford the one he wants, which is the Elite with the 120GB hard drive. My question is would it be the same thing if I bought him say a 20GB or 60GB Xbox console and then a separate 120GB hard drive made specifically for the XBox? I can actually get the smaller hard drive game console and then buy the larger hard drive cheaper than I can get the 120GB system for but I want to make sure it will have the same capabilities. Help...my time is running out!!

  • Am I Being Selfish...?

I have two kids, 12 and 17. My boyfriend has a place of his own but stays with me every night, clothes are there, vehicle is there, etc. He doesn't have any kids but has a nephew, 9, who he treats like his kid. This kid is spoiled rotten being the only child of his parents, only grandchild of my boyfriend's parents, etc. My boyfriend insists on including him in everything we do and it bothers me. My b/f is very indifferent to my kids and treats the nephew like he hung the moon when they are together. My kids notice this treatment. I know that my b/f is going to insist on me putting up a Christmas stocking for the nephew along with his, mine, and my kids stockings. I feel like I'm gearing up emotionally for a huge fight. Should I just put up the stocking and avoid the fight? It will hurt my kids feelings if I do, and my b/f's feelings if I don't. Just a note...this kid gets, has, does everything...my kids aren't as fortunate because I'm divorced and barely make ends meet. Help!!

  • Extended Family Problems..My BF doesn't get it...?

My BF, who is 38 yo, says he has never married b cuz he can't see himself putting a wife before his family (mom & sister). He continuously says that blood is thicker than water. The single most thing we fight about is family. He doesn't have any kids but has a nephew (9 yo) who he treats as his own and expects me to treat him the same as I treat my own kids. Should I move on and accept that this may never work?

  • My 10 yo son doesn't understand why I left his father. How can I help him understand grown up stuff?

I was married to his father for 10 years and I left the marriage because of general disrespect, loss of love, I just felt trapped and going no where. He has a huge family, all lived around us, I have a very small family, only two sisters. I tried to be interested in things he liked so we could spend time together, but he just ended up taking advantage of that situation, like all the other situations. He is not a bad man, never beat me, not physically anyway. I guess our (my) biggest mistake was keeping all the bad stuff from my son, only letting him see the good stuff. Now he thinks I just up and left his dad for no reason. He also thinks I can just go back and everything will be the same as before I left. He says he just wants his old life back and it's breaking my heart into a million pieces to know I caused my son such pain. How can I help him understand?
