I agree that this is a good idea, to maybe help make the people here more real to all of us (before we kill each other! *lol*)

I'll try to get my picture in by the end of the day, I have some but I don't know how they'll show up here...

Anyway...why would today not be the best day for that? Maybe set aside 1 full week during which we do this? I second the notion.

My avatar name is something else. An historical allusion to a largely forgotten event that I find meaningful, and wish was better known.

Whilst it was a fine attempt, only a couple were willing to submit a true pic. I applaud them. Non on the other hand would suggest a date. So much for the 'flash mob' scenario. I will submit though, certain social behavior fundamentals could be gleaned from the responses and actions of all who answered.

No. There's a reason those avatars exist... to support the anonymity the net provides. There are alot of nuts on here, many of them that hate me for my honesty. Putting my face up would be like asking to get shot by one of the Christian fundis.
