Where can I find a listing of the FCC FREQUENCY ALLOCATIONS for the new HDTV channels?

    A few things:

    1) There aren't "HDTV channels". There are Digitial TV (DTV) channels, but the station is under no obligation to provide HD content over those channels.

    2) The actual frequency allocations are basically the same as they were for analog TV, but the total number of available frequencies is smaller. However, DTV channels are not allocated the same way that analog channels were. The digital signal includes a portion to tell the TV what to channel to display the signal on. You can literally transmit on the frequency reserved for analog channel 56, but tell the TV to present it as channel 6.
