Why ask a question if you don't want varies answers?

Some people ask questions and then get bent out of shape when they give answers that vary with the way they feel. Why? We are all different and I think we should celebrate that fact, thus...you will have answers which reflect that difference. So why get upset?

Sometimes people ask a question because they want confirmation of their own world view. So when someone gives an opposing answer, it upsets them. What this tells us is that they didn't really have a question at all, nor did they want real answers. They simply wanted to promote something they already believed to be true.

Well, when someone has an opinion, and asks others for theirs, and then get upset if their opinion isn't like theirs, think about it. I believe that happens because the person who asked that question really just wanted to hear the other agree to feel good an secure about what they thought, and when they hear another answer, they get upset because that's not what they were looking for. That's my opinion, not a fact.

I guess sometimes people feel hurt by the answers , feel that they are being judged or criticized.

various answers are not the problem. maybe people just want to know what you think, without you assuming things about them or being rude
