you could butter and add shredded cheese toast it and serve it with any kind of soup(homemade vegetable, chicken noodle, potato etc)
cube and toast it add any dried herbs you like and you have homemade croutons
let it dry out put in the food processor and make your own breadcrumbs

You can make it into a tasty "French Bread Pizza". Cut the french bread in half place on a cookie sheet add any ingredient that you like on your pizza and put in oven and bake until done and walla you have "French Bread Pizza".

I"d use it to make a large sub sandwich, or some french bread pizza. Add sauce, cheeses and your favorite toppings and bake in a 425 degree oven until crispy and toppings are done to your liking.

I like making steak and cheese sandwhiches with french bread. Cook your steak in a skillet, add some green peppers, mushrooms, and provolone and swiss cheese and put in on the french bread. Its really good!
