Question about pain in the 3rd tri?

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and have a lot of pain in my arm if I put my hands above chest level (for example holding a cell phone) for more than a minute or two. I have also noticed that it feels like an organ below my left breast is bruised. I don't know if the last part is from the baby kicking it or whatever, and that pain isn't constant, but should I be concerned about my inablility to hold my hands up for any length of time?

I am 27 weeks also but do not experience either of these problems. I am going to say the arm pain is more than likely blood pressure issues because you have your arm raised for a period of time. This would put strain on your heart just because it is already working twice as hard. If you have a earpiece or something that you can use instead, try that. The pain under your left breast is probably the baby kicking or punching. I know my little girl hits the front of my stomach and it hurts sometimes quite a bit. Sounds like your lil one is hitting hard but in another direction. Let your doctor know about these issues and good luck!

Your arm pain may have something to do with Carpal Tunnel, normal in pregnancy, tell your doctor at your next appointment, I wouldn't be too concerned at this point.

As for the pain under your left breast, I have the same thing under my right breast, it's usually the baby pushing out. It helps me to put my hand there and push back.
