If tap water wasn't safe to drink, what would happen?

I keep coming across reports on the dangers of fluoride in our water and how it is scientifically known to be poisonous. What if this was true? What would happen?

It is true that fluoride is a poison. So is alcohol, yet millions willingly consume it. Fluoride was sold to the tax payers as vital to the health of their teeth. I don't know whether or not it is, but the real question is, do our politicians have the right to medicate the American people without their consent.

What are the long term effects of fluoride on the body? What are the possible side effects? These questions apparently were irrelevant to the politicians who helped the aluminum industry dispose of what used to be considered hazardous waste by selling it to the taxpayers.

To answer your question, water distillers would become all the rage. Prices would go up, and soon the stores would be sold out. Possibly, filters might become available that would remove the fluoride.

Sometimes that happens in a small area and the authorities send reports through the radio, tv etc., and provides drinkable water to the population asking for people to use tap water to washing purposes only. Usually the situation doesn't last long. About the whole water system, and with levels that are not considered unsafe, it's your choice to start buying some quality dinking water and use tap water for other purposes, like washing.

The place which I live tap water is not safe. We use coolers.Firstly children gets a white stain on their teeth because of the flouride. People have died and got really sick. It is said that our water is drinkable but just a risk. In europe most of the water isn't drinkable but you can use it to shower and wash clothing, Just have to follow their lead. I don't drink tap water at all.
