what churches, religions, or denominations believe that a son of god has appeared on every planet with life?
if jesus showed up here because he is the son of god, wouldn't it make sense that the same son of god would be present everywhere there turns out to be life. otherwise are we supposed to believe that this is the only planet god deemed worthy of sending his son? in other words if god created everything in the universe, why should he give partiality to our particular speck of dust on the map? is this the disconnect from religion to science or do some who worship actually have this idea of multiple sons being "deployed" within their doctrine?
no elizabeth, i wanted this question here because if i submitted it in the category of religion people will just give me answers not led by reason.
alright susanne i'll play. if your answer to everything is god, then are you of the impression that the entirety of the universe is devoid of life? or if you do realize that the size of this universe is such that it is ridiculous to think there is no other life, then what sort of biblical era took place on each of those planets? you can't just say god either.

I'm sorry to see that you think that "religious" people would give you answers not led by reason. Actually, they are the most reasonable people you will ever meet. Those who do not believe in God have to assume that everything from the smallest atoms and cells and other miscroscopic particles were created by "chance", up through the universe which is comprised of so many stars, planets, and other things we have never even seen because it is so vast - also just "chance".
We religious people simply believe in the Creator God.

Acutally, it does seem likely that there would be life on other planets. The Bible does not say if that is or isn't the case, so it is open for debate. However, since we are not aware of that life, then we don't have to worry about whether God sent His Son to these theoretical inhabited planets or not. I have actually wondered, too, if God gave the gift of salvation to any creatures other than ourselves. Interesting question. I guess we'll only know that answer after we die, and can see if there are beings other than humans in Heaven. Or maybe God created other Heavens, too... who knows? He could do anything!

It begs a similar question: Why couldn't Jesus have appeared on every continent on Earth to teach rather than just western Asia?
If the religious knew there was intelligent life in space but they did not know Jesus, evangelicals no doubt would try to proselytize to the alien worlds.
