Nipple piercing for large breasts a good idea?
I have large breasts, (40 DD) and my husband wants me to get one or both of my nipples pierced. I am concerned about pain and what effects the size of my breasts will have. Anyone with actual knowledge will be helpful, no nonsense comments please. Thanks for your help guys. Oh, the only thing I have pierced right now is my ears, one hole each.

I don't think it will look strange having a nipple piercing on large breasts.
First things first . Pain tollerance differes for everyone .Nipple piercings are however, renowned to be somewhat painful, so be prepared for discomfort if you choose to go through with it.
you may experience aggravation due to poor ventilation and over heating.
Try to keep the nipple piercing cool, and allow for some fresh air to reach the piercing
When a nipple piercing gets hot and wet (usually from perspiration) it is immersed in an environment ideal for bacteria to develop quickly.
Regularly clean and air your piercing and keep it cool and dry.
Infections in a female nipple piercing could travel into the mammary glands causing mastitis; which often makes the breast red, hot, painful, swollen and shiny, and there may be some pus coming from the nipple.
There are general symptoms, such as a high fever, shivering, muscle aches and vomiting. Though the chances of a proper procedure causing REAL dangers are small, there is a possibility that leaving any problems untreated will hinder, if not prevent, breast feeding.
Those are some issues to concider. Nipple piercings take 6-16 weeks to heal , but usually heal well. Just remember to clean it with a rock salt solution , and listen efficinatly to the piercers after care instruction (:

DokiDoki,
You are wrong on so many accounts it is ridiculous. Nipple piercings are not dangerous, and unless you don't take care of them, they will not get infected. It is not uncomfortable to wear bras or shirt after the first three or four days, and I have had the same D-rings in my nipples for the past four years with absolutely no issues, what so ever.
Given that almost all of my friends, both male and female, with breasts from a 34A to a 36DD, have their nipples pierced (and some of them stretched as large as 2g), I am going to say that you don't know what you are talking about. I question the experience of your teacher.
Also, how could you think it is possible for a piercing to close up while the ring is in? There is a piece of metal keeping it from closing. It could reject or migrate if it artist who pierced it didn't know what they were doing, but if it gets to a point where you have to go to a hospital for surgical removal, that is your fault for being negligent in the care of your piercing.

Eyeque,
To answer your question about the pain, I am not going to lie, it will be painful. Like any piercing in a sensitive area, there will be a good amount of pain (followed by aching afterward). Any reputable place should numb it with ice or a topical anesthetic (something from the -caine family) Like any other piercing, keep it clean to avoid infection and you should be fine. If you don't keep it clean, the infection can spread into your mammary glands, and then you will have issues. Listen intently to the aftercare instructions and you will be fine.
As for altering the size of your breasts, no. The only things, from a medical standpoint that will alter your breast size are weight gain, weight loss, or developing the muscles (pectoral) underneath. For the size affecting the piercing, that should not be any issue at all. If we are talking about fashion, well, that is up to you and your husband! Of course, do what you personally are comfortable with, that is the most important thing.

First of all all the pills are pure scams and if you think that surgery is the only option to grow your bust, then you have mistaken. I was so close going with surgery and I would have regretted it. Check out this book on how to increase your breast size by 2 cup naturally: "Boost Your Bust" by Jenny Bolton, online version @ http://www.burstboost.com/
It's about what foods and supplements you need to take, about exercises etc. It took just under 4 weeks for me to gain one cup size taking me from a B cup to a C cup. At 6 weeks I had seen even more improvement and was a very full C... I decided to keep going for another week as it would take me to a D cup which was my goal to start with. The best part is that my breasts look natural unlike implants.

as for pain, yes it does hurt but its not that bad, you just need to keep em in a well supporting bra x

It might look a little disproportionate at worst, but you'll probably look fine. I say go for it. You can always take it out. You can always hold up rings or bars in front of a mirror too. The scariest thing about that piercing for me is since it's so sensitive, I was always afraid of getting it caught or ripping it out somehow. lol. You'll get over it though. Just be careful and good luck!
