Jessie Jackson Jr. met with Blagojevich on Monday,& there was no talk of paying for Obama Senate seat? Believe?
He's shocked! Only presented his resume to this crook in their 90 min meeting.
Says he didn't make a personal offer. What do you think?
Universe. Great argument. They are all corrupt? Or your guys are more corrupt then mine so it's OK?

I think in the end he is #5, and maybe he wasn't paying for his own seat, but rather someone who wanted him in it was offering to pay.
We might think about who would be willing to spend that money to get him into the seat.
Just because someone was offering the money doesn't mean it was the person directly, sometimes it's worth more to someone else for them to have the job.

What exactly do you think Jesse Jackson Jr. would have had to offer by way of "payment" for the seat in the first place? Is he sitting on a mountain of cash? Could he have offered Blagojevich some sort of reward in the form of votes or anything else?
Even if Blagojevich tried to make a Senate appointment contingent on something, Jackson is only guilty of something if he either made or an accepted an illegal offer. We don't even know what cards he was playing with--what he would have had to offer that Blagojevich would have wanted.
Until we know that, there is no reason to implicate Jackson in anything.

Right now I really don't care and tired of this story already. I hope Jesse Jr and Obama have nothing to do with it. You neo-CONS are going to continue to beat a dead horse when it down. When a repubs get busted, you don't have anything to say. Double standard. No one is perfect. It all about the love of money. There is corruption all around left, right and independence. I don't trust any politician 100%. ><
Two wrongs don't make a right! Mine guy or your guy. It's still wrong. If I'm with you and you stole a car, I going down 2. It's wrong and there's no grey area.

I only hope for him that he wasn't dumb enough to discuss anything on the phone.
Heck, as long as the feds don't have it on tape, he can say they talked about sports for an hour and a half. The feds won't be able to get him... but that's IF he was smart enough not to be as careless as Blagojevich.

nicely i'd hammer him for the suitable cost seeing he is going to reformatory now him advertising that seat now could be like an ice cream seller with a truck load of ice cream and no freezer shall we deal! yet on the down component I gotta flow to Illinois.....

If Blago was looking for the highest bidder, if that is true... well it just doesnt make much sense that he wouldnt discuss payment does it now?

All politicians are a bunch of liars, all of them. How can Jessie Jackson even call himself a minister besides? He has never even had a church to minster in. He's just another politician.

He's the devil's spawn...how shocked could he be? Amazing. I'm sure it was all on the up and up. (with a lil ka-ching!)
