Same people that were my MOH and BM then. My MOHs were my sister (who will always be my sister despite the fact that we aren't close) and my best friend (who has been my best friend for 8 yrs now). The BM is my husbands best friend (and my closest guy friend) for 13 years. I can't ever see him not being our best friend.

I think you should always use family. Half of my bridesmaids were my family. My little cousin already looks back at her wedding pictures and regrets her choice. She had 8 bridesmaids and not a one of them was her family. She no longer talks to most of them. But if you pick a sister or cousin, even if you guys aren't super close--you'll always look back at those pictures and be happy.

It's funny because although I have good friends and close friends, over the years my boyfriend really has become my best friend and he'd all ready be up there with me!

I'd probably ask my best friend from university to be my Maid of Honour, she is the one person I could always count on from the day we met.

My sister, obviously would be an important person to include, we're not super close but I wouldn't dream of not having her stand up with me on my special day.

And lastly probably my best friend from elementary and high school. We went through all of the awkwardness of growing up together and she is really the most supportive person I've ever met.

If I was able to, I'd also like my brother to be up there with me. He has been my best friend since he was born and he'd have to play a very important role.

Well I am getting married in April and my two best friends are my bridesmaids. We are getting married in Vegas and my other best friend wasn't sure if she could make the trip; she's married with four kids. But if it happened tomorrow here at home, I would have her as an attendant as well. My friends are my family.

I would have my sister, some close friends (only 2) as a bridesmaid, and two of my cousins.

I chose my Sister as my matron of Honor, My best friend as my Maid of Honor, and my Cousin as a bridesmaid. For the grooms side, both of his brothers are his best men and my brother is a grooms men.

You don't have to have a bridal party if you don't want to, its up to you.

I dont have any of the above either... i wouldnt have any one...

i would have my brothers daughter be my miniture bride... but i will not look for someone to play that role- its an important role and shouldnt be given to anyone unless you really close...

rather not have anyone... its acceptable...

p.s: im just not big on a huge wedding, that could be my reasoning as well.

I'm a woman, but I want my brother to be my "best man" (I don't want him standing on the "guy's side" - he's MY brother!). I don't really want bridesmaids - maybe just one, my best friend from college.

I don't plan on having bridesmaids at all. My marriage will be between my partner and I, everyone else will just be normal guests.
