Can I get Rosetta Stone for free if I am in the Military?

I am in the Marine Corp. I have been in for 7 months, give a take, since May of 2008. I was wondering if I would be able to get Rosetta Stone for free? I have heard mixed remarks on this question. I have heard that we can get it through the MGI Bill and I have heard that we can just get it without paying at all. If I can get it, how do I go about getting it? Thank you for your time.

P.S. Please pray for my brothers in arms overseas and all over the world.

    I don't know if the Marine Corps has it for free but we do have free access to many languages in Rosetta Stone online through Army Knowledge Online (AKO). Call the Education Center yourself and ask them.

    4 months in the marine corps, i dont know about rosetta stone but i know if your in california you can basically go to community colledge for free and im pretty sure they offer language courses in community colledge, look into online classes that the marine corps offers for free too semper fi

    Ask your chain of command to call the Military language institute in Montery California

    Or heck go to your education center

    Husband still deployed after 14 months returning very soon!

    the ARMY offers it for free via AKO. that's the only branch I am sure of.

    I know I cannot( as a dependent) access it via my NKO account. Not sure if DH can, I haven't asked him,although if we get the orders to Japan we want we will look into it more.

    I get it for free but I am in the Army...and I can access it though AKO (Army Knowledge Online). I am not sure what the Marines have but I am sure you have it somewhere.

    Only certain MOSs can get it for free, you would have to talk to your command about it.

    I am not sure which MOSs get it for free though. No one in my husbands squadron can get it for free but I know some people at Legal that do get it for free.

    I think it depends on your OPS (correct me if I'm wrong, sorry). Or ask your division about it or if they will reimburse you if you buy one.

But I had good grades which doesn't help in the future) Therefore, I've been in shoes of other trying to learn a language via classroom v.s. immersion.

    You can access it - my husband just discovered this, glad we didn't pay for it ourselves. I'm not sure where he accessed it, I'll have to ask him.
