Are Canopies on Cribs Safe?
My daughter has chosen a nursery set that includes a canopy as an option. The canopy attaches to the ceiling and the netting flows down and around the crib. For a picture, visit:

My daughter is concerned that the baby, once she is standing up, might pull the canopy down. In other words, she is worried about the safety of the canopy.
Does anyone have experience with this kind of canopy?

You might want to take it down when the baby stands up it can get wrapped up in it.

I wouldn't use it personally, I'm just a bit iffy on the safety aspect of having loosefabric draping over the crib. Have you looked into a crib tent? Mine was $60 and I live in Australia so things tend to be a LOT more expensive here than they are in America!
