When is the soonest to know or test?

A nurse at my doc's office told me that if I wasn't sure, I should wait until 2 - 3 weeks after the last time we had sex to test. And if you're very irregular, you may want to consider opk's...they're relatively cheap (around $13 vs. $20) if you buy the target brand.

ok well post peoples periods are ever 28 to 34 days you tend to ovulate after 14 days from the first day of your last period so if you sterted on the monday you start counting on the same monday! 14 days abouts

when you have finished your period or just about to start them your discharge can be white! Creamy! or like a cloudy thing happening a little or a lot! depends on all kinds of things so yes when you are ovulting the discharge turns clear with egg white consistincy or can sometimes have blood tinge to it, that is when you are ovulting i had the discharge and ovultiong pain and a strong line on the ov test then took a test 2 weeks later they call it the 2 week wait!! even though you are not very regular with your periods still try after 2 weeks with a preg test

and write everything down and count days so you can make a pattern if sadly this time does not do it for you i wish you luck i know how nurve racking and no patience all this can be LOL i have 2 girls x

You should be able to test up to 5 days before you expect to get your period unless you get a blood test done at your doctors.
