  • Is this normal bleeding?

I have been put back on birth control by my doctor. (I'm not quite sure why since I want to conceive). They said that it will help the pain I have been getting with my cycle. I am on the Nuva Ring and put it in last Sunday. I believe I ovulated a few days later and dh and I bd. Last night while bding again there was a light blood. It was not there this morning and hasn't been back.

Is this a side effect of the bc or is it more likely that I finally conceived and this is implantation bleeding?

    Any help would be great.

  • Where is my question?

I just asked a question and its not on the forum to be answered. I double checked my profile to make sure it got posted and it says open and its in the correct category, however it's not showing up.

I have checked in the help menu, but can't seem to find any other similar issues or a way to report it.

Is there anything I can do?

  • Just remember that you can keep trying!!!!?

So I know this isn't a question, just wanted to let you all know how my attempts have turned. I went to the doctor for some severe cramping I was having hoping that if nothing else I was miscarrying to at least let me know my husband and I could at least conceive. This was not the case and after numerous tests my doctor decided to do a biopsy of my cervix. During this test, we went over the results of the other tests. Since there was no other information, we decided to put me BACK on birth control to help with the pain. It just sucks, we have been trying for just over a year and now our attempts not only have been in vein but now everyone thinks I don't want kids and that is why I'm going back on birth control. I just want you all to know that try to keep positive in your attempts to become pregnant. Until there is a reason to be down, keep thinking that at least you have next month to try.

Good Luck to all of you and please wish me luck that I get off bc soon and the pain is under control.

  • How do you deal with people who don't know what they are talking about?

Ok so my husband and I have been ttc for just over a year. I have been talking to my sister and everyone around me about my woes. They are great for listening but they try to tell me that its not that hard to get pregnant and we just haven't reached our goal because the timing isn't right or because we only have a 25% chance each time as it is. I know all of that is true, but has anyone else just wanted to yell at theses people who take for granted how easily and quickly they conceived when you are having issues? I love my sister dearly and all but she conceived both my nephews while her and her husband were separated and were still sleeping together. I understand that she too deserves to be happy, but when will it be my turn? I have a loving husband and a wonderful relationship. We wouldn't be bring a child into a broken home to begin with yet we are the ones having issues? Its just not fair and don't really know how to tell her I don't want her advice and just want her to shut up and listen every now and then. I don't want ANYONE who got pregnant easily talking to me about it, because they will never know the heartache that those of us who are trying go through.

So sorry for the rant, but how would you handle this in my situation?

  • Have you ever had this?

So I am two weeks late now and had a slight amount of blood yesterday for a few hours. I had taken an HPT on Friday night and it came back with BFN!!!! Last month I was two weeks late and counting from then, I was another two weeks late. When I did bleed last month, it was also for one day. What is going on? I have never heard of this happening and want a little advice.

I have an appointment with my doctor on Thursday, so I will be checking with that route, but any help in the mean time would be much appreciated!!!!!!

Also feel free to email or IM me!

    Thank You!!!!!!

  • Did I finally get pregnant?

Ok, I asked this earlier, but didn't get a response.

So long story short, I was 15 days late last month and when I did bleed, it was for one day. Counting from that one day I am almost a week late again. I have been thinking about so many things other than conceiving lately, and was told that might help. My husband and I have been 'trying' for almost a year, but actively trying since we wed in September. He was giving me a back rub last night and like he does reached around and grabbed my boobs...which were abnormally tender. I suggested finally taking a test today but he suggested waiting for a little while longer. Does it sound like it may have finally happened?

  • how do you deal with so many friends being pregnant when you can't seem to conceive?

I have numerous friends that either just got pregnant and are EXTREMELY happy about it or are about ready to have their babies. I am very happy for all of them, but it breaks my heart every time one of them talks about it. I know that my husband and I haven't been trying for all that long, but it still hurts. My sister in law for example got pregnant while her husband was home on his two week RR from Iraq. Its such a small window that I think, what are the chances that the two week period in which he was home was the right time....then what are the odds that the time took? I know I should just stop and be happy for them, but how do you pretend that your not broken inside?

  • How do I get him to go to the doctor?

My husband wakes up early in the morning or in the middle of the night, hacking and gagging and spitting. This of course wakes me up, which I might add that I work swing, and gets me in a grumpy mood for the rest of the day. Sometimes his ventures to the bathroom to do this, leads to him vomiting. I have suggested him go to a doctor to make sure it's not an ulcer. He says no, its his fault and refuses to go. I know he doesn't have a problem going to a doctor, because he has been off this entire past week going to the chiropractor. I just don't know what to do to get this to stop, I can't continue to be loosing sleep due to him refusing to take care of the situation.

Any suggestions on how to get him to go, or even how to handle it if he continues to refuse?

  • Should I still try to concieve, or give up?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since we got married in September. I have tried counting days and checking CM and BBT but found an anomaly and went to the doctor for it. They ran a few tests and a pap and it came back abnormal. We will be running more tests, but in the meantime, should my husband and I continue to try or should I give up until after everything is done with the doctor. They haven't told me I can't but if it were you, would you keep trying?

  • My sister is asking my advice, what do I tell her.?

My sister is always asking for my opinion on what to do and she asked me yesterday for advice and I don't know what to tell her. She is married and has been for almost 6 years and has two kids. Her and her husband have split a couple times and got back together because he realized he can't deal with life without her and she can't afford to live without him.

She has a guy friend in which her husband doesn't have a problem with, but the other day told her that he loves her and that her husband doesn't appreciate her like he should. She hasn't really been happy in the relationship and told me that their friendship just comes naturally, whereas her husband, there has always been problems and she said that it never came that easy, not even when they were friends.

She doesn't know what to do and I don't know what to tell her. I know she hasn't been happy but I don't think she should leave him. I mean they are planning to move farther away from his family which seems to be their primary problem and I think she needs to keep trying but don't know how to gently tell her this because its obviously not what she wants to hear.

Also she is older than me and generally when I don't give her the advice she is looking for she tells me I'm not as experianced in life. She can't tell me anymore though that I'm not married and I don't understand, as I just got married in September. I just don't know how to tell her nicely what I think so she will understand why I feel the way I do.

  • what is going on with my body?

Ok...so I was due to start my period on Dec 22. I never started and so I took a test on Dec 25 thinking that would be an awesome Christmas miracle. The test was negative. I then took another test on Jan 2 since my period never came and it was also negative. I then bled one day on Jan 5 and then nothing. I have had sharp pains in my abdomen since just before the new year and have gone to the doctor. They have done tests and they also said I'm not pregnant. I have more appointments to find out why I never had a normal period and why I'm having the pain. But until my dr appt I want a possible answer to what is going on.

Could I still be pregnant and not have enough HCG hormone to show positive?

What is going on....help me please.

  • what are the chances of becoming pregnant with PCOS or endomitriosis?

So I have been having problems with my cycle and might have PCOS or endomitriosis. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but I want to know the possiblility of becoming pregnant even with those problems. Its not certain if I have one or the other, but I want to be prepared if I do.

  • Does a tubal pregnancy show negative on an HPT?

I had a "feeling" that my husband and I conceived at the beginning of the month, so I was going to wait until Christmas to take the test. I took the test after being a few days late on my period and it was negative. I am now 6 days late and only one small sign of period (acne) but have a sharp stabbing pain in my lower abdomen. Pain comes and goes but is not a consistent pain. Is it possible that its a tubal pregnancy? And if so would it still show negative on an HPT at this point?

  • When is the soonest to know or test?

Ok so I have a very irregular cycle and can't really tell by any means when I am ovulating. The other day I thought I noticed CM and it was like egg whites, but with lack of knowledge in how to know or anything couldn't be sure. My husband and I had sex that night (Dec. 7) as well as the 4th and again yesterday morning. If I were to have conceived on one of these days, when is the soonest I could test or start to have symptoms?

  • How well do ovulation predictors work?

My husband and I have been trying for for about 9 months or so. I don't have a regular cycle so counting days isn't an option really. I don't seem to have a consistent temp...EVER! So that too seems out of the question. I can't seem to even detect CM, so that's probably not the best route for me.

Numerous people have been suggesting the use of an ovulation predictor, but my question is how accurate are they. Please tell me how long you have been trying as well as when you started to use one and once you started using one, how fast were you able to conceive?

    Thanks in advance!

  • How do you count your cycle when its irregular?

I have an irregular cycle and its been that way since I got it. My husband and I would love to have children but when most sites tell me to count days for most fertile days, it impossible to do. We do have sex as often as possible to increase the chances but its hard to understand how to "count" the days when its irregular to begin with.

Any information you have is helpful

  • What is making my Dog limp?

My husband and I were at work all day and when he came home and let the dog in. He noticed that not only was she limping, but hoping. When I got home I looked at her paw to see if maybe she had a splinter. I didn't see anything but after spending the night and day today in the kennel, she is still hoping and not really putting weight on it. I have an appointment with the vet but I don't want to take the time off work if I can avoid it.

  • How long did it take you to get pregnant?

I have been off birth control since February or March of which I was on Nuva Ring. My husband and I have been having sex on a regular basis 3-4times a week since then and have still yet to become pregnant. There have been times in which I thought I might be but after taking tests, I'm not. We really want to have children but I am getting discouraged since I know all these people that aren't trying and getting pregnant. Any words of encouragment or maybe something I could try?

  • Am I pregnant, or parnoid?

My cycle is supposed to start in the next day or two. Last week I randomly threw up. (I had just landed from flying, but I'm not normally sensitive to flights as I fly about once a month.) This week I am lethargic and my muscles ache. I have had a dull headache for the past couple days. I have larger breasts to begin with so they don't feel any more sensitive than normal. Am I jumping the gun in thinking I am pregnant or is it really likely that I am?
