Have you ever had this?

So I am two weeks late now and had a slight amount of blood yesterday for a few hours. I had taken an HPT on Friday night and it came back with BFN!!!! Last month I was two weeks late and counting from then, I was another two weeks late. When I did bleed last month, it was also for one day. What is going on? I have never heard of this happening and want a little advice.

I have an appointment with my doctor on Thursday, so I will be checking with that route, but any help in the mean time would be much appreciated!!!!!!

Also feel free to email or IM me!

Thank You!!!!!!

If you're hoping to be pregnant, the stress/excitement over the possibility could delay your period.

You could also be pregnant this time around anyway. A slight amount of blood suggests either implantation bleeding (although, it's a little late I would think) or an abnormal period. Both are excellent indicators. The BFN could be because not enough hormone is built up in your system yet to register - it's not that uncommon for it to take several weeks.

    Good luck at the doctor's.

It is normal for these things to happen when trying to conceive. A lot of times the irregular bleeding is due to cyst on an ovary. I would consult with the doctor and relax. You will get there, but stress causes a person problems in conceiving. You should express your concerns and hopes with your doctor. He could give you insight on way to conceive. The abnormal periods are normal, because your brain is telling your body it is pregnant and the brain controls the body, Now not to get your hopes up, but one of my friends had her period for the first 4 months of her pregnancy. I hope that this is helpful. You can ask doctors online also. see link below for more insight.

you can still be pregnant but there may be another reason for the blood...it could just be a haemorage of some sort...all good health to you but please be prepared for what the doctor might say...OK...an ultrasound might reveal more...all the best...
