How do you count your cycle when its irregular?
I have an irregular cycle and its been that way since I got it. My husband and I would love to have children but when most sites tell me to count days for most fertile days, it impossible to do. We do have sex as often as possible to increase the chances but its hard to understand how to "count" the days when its irregular to begin with.
Any information you have is helpful

If you have irregular cycles and can't count your days then the best way to figure out when you are ovulating is to use ovulation predictor kits (OPK) or to track your body temp.

Counting days never worked for me either. We started trying for baby number two when my son was about 4 or 5 months old and my periods were still irregular from birth and breastfeeding so it was hard to tell when I was fertile. I started using fertilityfriend.com to start charting my symptoms and temperatures. Eventually I stopped taking my basel temperature because it was more stressful than anything else to make sure I took it at the same time everyday and just went off of what my body was doing. And 3 months later we were pregnant...I would check my cervix and fluids once a day whenever it was convenient and started to notice a pattern. Read up on how to check your cervical fluid and cervix since it is the most reliable.

ovulation takes position 14-16 days earlier your era. in case your sessions are abnormal, that's hard to song. in a cycle the position you had a era on day 40 six, you probably ovulated on day 32. once you've your era on day 35, you probably ovulated on day 21. symptoms contain cramp-like discomfort and slippery "egg white" mucous. they are frequently diffused and not in any respect continually precise.

it would probably be more helpful for you to chart your basal body temp and/ or your cervical mucous. it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. :) http://fertilityfriend.com/ has alot of tips and info.
