Why do immature people have to run down import owners?

Why did FORD-GM-CHRYSLER force them to go to the Imports for a decent car in the first place. The Big Three lost a generation of buyers to the Import when they failed to meet even the lowest customer expectations for a decent car in the 1970's and 1980's.

The Big Three steadfastly refused to see this and kept right on going to ruination and the Imports kept getting better. There are very loyal Americans who will never buy another American car because of the way they have been treated in the past.

These people are bitter because of the big three going broke affecting their lives in/directly. They should blame it on the big three CEOs who earn millions/year and couldn't come up with something to beat the import market. they won't blame the big three for making inferior because that's where their bread and butter are. They're being patriotic.

The people should be blaming neither one. They only have themselves to blame. Auto manufactures will make what the people buy. Certain people gravitate toward the better mileage reliable imports and certain people gravitate toward the behemoths that Detroit makes. If the people had demanded better made, more fuel efficient cars all along (by only purchasing them) then Detroit would have changed their way of doing business ages ago. They have no one to blame but themselves and their arrogance and disregard for the environment.

That would be unpatriotic.

The fact that the majority of imports are far more reliable and of better value does not enter their minds.

They believe imports are weak and all they want is american muscle.
