Does anyone read anything besides Twilight or The Classics?

Just wondering because it seems near impossible to get a response to questions unless its about a school book or Twilight.

I've asked about Jennifer Fallon and Simon Green and NOT 1 response.

How about Christine Feehan? Sherrilyn Kenyon? Laurell K Hamilton? Lynsay Sands, Kerrelyn Sparks?

Update:

Popular huh... Simon Green has atleast 6 books out in the series I asked about..

Christine Feehan has 13 or 14 I think..

Sherrilyn Kenyon has atleast that many

Laurell K Hamilton has2 series one has 14 books I think the other 6

Jennifer Fallon was about a trilogy..

Update 2:

I have read Rowling, and Meyer and Rice... I've read Pierce, Britain, McCaffrey, WEB Griffin, C. Vaughn, Briggs, and so many others. I can get through usually a book a day.

How about anyone read the Horseclan Novels by Robert Adams??

Update 3:

Yes Loki. that is the Pierce I was talking about and I can't wait for Bloodhound. I just reread all of the previous books and have to admit that George is one of my favorite characters so more on his ancestors is always a good thing.

My favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, Laurie Notaro, Christopher Buckley, Eleanor Herman, Michael Farquhar, Janet Evanovich, Patricia Briggs, Karen Traviss, Mercedes Lackey, Mary Higgins Clark and JK Rowling. Basically these are authors that either I have all the books they've written, most of what they've written, or when they come out with a new one I buy automatically.

I've never read any books you've mentioned, and I read quite a bit. It's just easier to get a question answered about Twilight or the Classics because Twilight is popular right now and the Classics will always be popular. The more popular the book is the greater chance someone will know the answer to the question.

There are just so many books out there that it's unlikely someone will have read the same book as you unless it was extremely popular.

ADD: Do you realize that about 150,000 books are published every year? When you look at it like that 6 or even 14 books don't mean much. The books you mentioned are not very popular in comparison to the Classics or Twilight. I'm not saying they aren't good. They're just not popular.

OOOOh i like this game. Non Classics: Sarah Dessen, Meg Cabbot, Nicholas Sparks, Dan Brown, um the man that writes the Uglies series and the Midnighters series, Megan McCafferty, is 1984 considered a classic?...

i totally know what you mean. i LOOOOOVE Twilight and the classics(Jane Austen, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Bronte's) but modern books need some love too:)

Truthfully, I am a fan of the Twilight books. However there is much more out there to read than that. I'm not entirely familiar with the authors you mentioned.

But I'm a fan of finding obscure books like Ophelia by Lisa Klein, and Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith.

But I definitely see your point. It is extremely hard.

Yeah, I noticed that too! There are so many fantastic books out there. I read Twilight, and it's okay I guess, but I have definitely read better. S.R. Donaldson, T. Brooks, T. Goodkind, R. Hobb, M. Lackey, J. Kellerman, D. Francis, S. Woods and so many more that I can't think of right off the top of my head.

I love Twilight, but all the fandom is getting kind of annoying.

I'm hoping to get the Queen's Soprano or Witch Season for Christmas. I've heard they're great books.

I like to read books by authors like Sarah Dessen and Jodi Piccoult. Although I haven't heard of the authors you mentioned, I too am sick of hearing about the twilight series(even though it was amazing :D)

I mostly read classic literature or fantasy series. I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Ian McEwan.
