Can anyone tell me what kind of flower this is?

I just got this flower and I can't figure out what kind it is, so I have no idea how to care for it.

    Your plant looks beautiful..

As it's name suggests (yes, a Peace-lily) this plant will thrive in a happy, peaceful home. Funny as it seems, they seem to guage their environment, curling up their toes in an angry, argumentitve zone. (lol)

Mine died. It sounds like harley Mike and Diana 1 have a gentle enviro?

Tropical in origin, these plants prefer a warm, breeze free spot. With bright, but not direct light. Moist well-airated soil. Divide when it gets too big for it's container.

Good luck and stay calm (lol)

Definitely a peace lily. I have one too and they are very easy to care for. I just water mine when the soil gets dry and feed it now and then with Miracle Grow or unflavored gelatin. Mine has been thriving for over a year now. It is a lovely plant.

It is a pecae lilly and extremely easy plant to care for that will re bloom season after season..If you live in northern climes I leave my lilly alone for now.....I water it when it is dry_teh leaves will droop telling you it is time to water me-- Do not overwater or even water regularly...It is time for this plant to rest...Once the spring arrives and you are able to put it out on a porch or sunnier location re-pot the plant with new growth medium and fertilize it...Do not do so in the winter months itneeds a time to rest

The Peace Lily's Latin name is Spathiphyllum.

Spathiphyllum does not like full sun. In fact, if your Spathiphyllum is not in bloom after a while in your home, move it to a slightly dimmer location. This is one of the few plants that actually prefers low light for successful blooming.
