Would getting Gasoline in your eyes cause bad vision or would playing computer games since age 10 make it bad?

Im 14 (month from 15) and i have like 52/20 vision (i cant see far well, only short) I have terrible vision, it affects everything i do. And worse of all, it gets EVEN worse when its dark

Well, when i was about 9 or 10, my dad told me fill some gas when he went into the gas station store. Me never doing it before tried to put it in the car and it slipped and i got gasoline in both my eyes (more in the left than the right). I believe i was in the 4th or 5th grade and i remember that my vision was getting worse and worse so i had to sit under the protector screen when we did warm ups because i couldnt see it. My vision has gotten worse and worse till this day. My eye sight is also a little noticeable worse in the left eye than right

Would that be the cause of my crap vision? No one in my family but my aunt had to have glasses at like age 6 until like 16 (her vision somehow got perfect) My parents have perfect vision.

Ive played video games on the computer since i was like 10, and i used to play ALOT. Would staring at a computer screen constantly cause deteriorating vision? The games i have played since like 10 have been action, FPS games

Im not sure if my vision immediately got bad when the gas got in my eyes, i cant remember that much when i was younger

Heres some other info:

When i close my eyes, i see very very very tiny red and yellow dots in my vision, and when its dark i see them too... with my eyes open.

Not sure if this is related but recently, when im usually tired and i stand up or something i get this fainting feeling and i got blind for like 6 seconds and i loose balance and feel really woozy but then it goes away. Last week the same thing happened when i woke up and got out of bed but i was blind for like 15 seconds

It think its the Gasoline; but if its still getting worse then it could be something neurological.

Plus, I've been playing video games since I was 4 years old and I still have 20/20 vision.

There is no scientific medical link between blindness and video game usage.

So dude, you really need to see a doctor. Also the very tiny red and yellow dots are normal I have the same problem. When you said you went blind for 6 seconds, is that completely or just a blind spot, b/c I use to get blind spots when I would stand up really quickly.

Gasoline in the eyes certainly won't do any good, but I can't think of a reason it would cause you to suffer eye damage. Pc screens are only a problem when they are either poorly lit or you play very frantic games, like FPS, where you will strain your eyes staring at them for long periods.

i was pumpin gas when i was about 16 & got gas splashed in my eyes. wow was that painful! flushed 'em w/ water fast & for quite a while- no lasting problems. yeah my vision's bad but it was anyway before that. you sound like you might have a blood-pressure thing & gettin checked by an md is a better safe than sorry thing to do.
