The pain differes for everyone . It depends on your pain threshold.
I have thick lips and have 2 lip piercings - and i didn't feel any pain, only a slight "pinch"
If you really want it, then go for it (:
Depending on the location, monroe's often heals better when using a labret, rather than a Ball Closure Ring (though labrets are considered the ‘norm’ for this piercing). Micro jewellery or standard 1.6mm gauge jewellery is often used
It takes anywhere from 4-12 weeks to heal.
Oral piercings benefit from the presence of ‘friendly’ bacteria, which live in the mouth and protect it from external infection.
Regular rinsing with Saline or an anti-septic/non-alcoholic mouthwash will definitely help reduce the risks of infection, but over-using mouthwash can kill the natural bacteria making your tongue turn white on the surface.

That is a very cute piercing. Sexy if you don't get it at too big of a gauge. No larger than 14! I have the center of my lip pierced with a ring and no it didn't hurt...moving it around later did, but the actual piercing was surprisingly easy. There is as much flesh where your piercing will be as where I had mine...maybe a little less for you so I think you will be just fine! Good luck to you!

You should not get a piercing. Any harm that you do to your body will cause you suffering when you get older. It is seriously harmful and abnormal psychologically.
