If you have a block heater installed, then you can plug it in. If the car was originally sold in one of the northern states or anywhere in Canada, it will have a block heater as standard equipment. If you don't have one, it will run you about 150-200 bucks to get one put in. Consider getting a circulation style heater, they use a little more power, but you will have warm air blowing out of the heater almost immediately when you start the car, which saves you gas (shorter warmup time).

Hello, I live in canada and I am the snowplow driver at the airport . I have to be to work . I use a battery blanket. A battery can take a charge and give a much better jolt to the starter. My batteries last about 7yrs. 18 bucks and you will see a difference!

Yeah, sure...just pull the plug from underneath the spare tire and run an extension cord to it.

By the way - if yours doesn't have one, call the police. You've been robbed!
