I hope you're driving the Lancer.
The Cherokee's inline 6 is not far removed from being a tractor engine. It's got a pretty long throw, it doesn't like being revved really high. If you have to drag something heavy or climb steep hills slowly, it's tough to beat. And if you need to get somewhere fast and have a really tall rearend, it'll get you down the road all right...
but there's no way that Jeep is going to win any drag races. Not with a newish Lancer, at any rate.

lancer, no offense but she has a smaller car and a newer one, so you have lost some of you horsepower over the years, she has keept most of hers, also she will get you off the line, i say keep your money and dont race her
