D-link DGE-530T drivers on SLES not working?
I'm running SLES 10. The adapter works, because before i installed sles, i had xp running, and it worked. I've downloaded the sk98lin drivers from d-link and they dont work, nor do the ones that came with the NIC on the CD. If anyone knows how to fix this, i appreciate it
After doing extensive research and on the phone with their tech support explaining to them that i do not want a windows server (which was a waste of time), i found the driver on the chipset manufacturer's website.

select network controller and then your OS, in my case, it was kernel version 2.4.20 and higher (mines 2.6.something). Thank you for the suggestions. I hope my pain can help someone in the near future.
I have not tested to see if this card is fully operational, i transferred 12 gigs in about 20 minutes or so, maybe less, so its not gig, but the hard drive is old, and the server isnt the greatest hardware, plus i shut the linux NIC down for a few seconds, that probably didnt help. So it is possible to get this card running on SLES 10 SP1
