Mean - Add all the numbers up and divide the sum by the total numbers of the numbers
46. (15-7-11)/3 = -1
47. (12-8+9-5)/4 = 2

Mean is the average. So add/combine all of the numbers and divide by how many numbers there were to get your average. 15+ -7 + -11= -3, then divide by 3 because that's how many numbers there are listed. -3/3, meaning the average between those 3 numbers is -1.
Hopefully I'm right, but if I'm wrong correct me.

Mean is the average of a list of numbers
I'll do #46, you do the rest:
(15 + -7 + -11) / 3
(8 + -11) / 3
-3 / 3
-1
The mean = -1

average mean = sum of numbers/ the number of numbers
take 46.15, -7, -11
as an example
so u add them
46+15+-7+-11/4 (those are 4 numbers)
which is 43/4
