Does Caroline Kennedy REALLY want to be senator?

If she does, why would'nt she endorse Hillary when she was in the running, if Hillary gets elected president, then she would give up that senate seat.

Update:

It looks like she heard Governor Bluegobovitch talking about how a senate seat goes on sale, when a senator quits and the Governor appoints a replacement. And she thought that Governor Patterson would'nt see anything wrong with that, and she decided to make an offer, and maybe Governor Patterson would sell her Hillary's seat

Apparently the major media outlets are reporting that Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President John F. Kennedy wants to follow in her families footsteps and become the next Junior Senator of New York. Despite Caroline's political, and campaign support for Obama; she really has a heart for the Democratic party. Designee Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is honored to have Caroline to replace her seat in the Senate.

You know, some people go based on their convictions and not on what it can get them.

So far, Caroline Kennedy has actually been rather quiet and stayed away from the limelight. I suspect what happened is that like many others, she was impressed by Obama and felt that this time she should step in and speak her mind.

And the warm ovation she got, plus all the work she did politically for Obama, awoke a previously unknown fondness for leadership.

And now she does want to join in. And she may feel that this is one of the best ways to jump in.

I seriously doubt she wanted to be in government much at all before Obama came along. And if she had been asked those months ago to be Senator she probably would have said no. It's only after her work for the Obama campaign that it has awakened in her.

The Clintons and the Kennedys have zero in common. Obama's staff was more inclined to work up a deal. Her endorsement for the Senate Seat appointment was just for starters. As Blagojevich said, "that seat is worth some ....... money."

Apparently she does. Perhaps Kennedy thought Obama was a better choice. There's an idea. Also she may not have been interested in the senate seat at the time.

Evidently she wanted Obama more than the senate seat.

Second poster nailed it. Maybe I should run for senate. I was the president of my honour society back at University, so I already have more executive experience than our president elect does.

No, Caroline Kennedy wants to hold the seat for her own admiration...
