Great suggestions so far! Here are some of my favorites:

    Crescent Rollups:

    1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

1 Tub Garlic and Chive Cream Cheese

3 Slices platter bacon, chopped, cooked, and crumbled

    3 T sour cream

Remove dough from can and seal the seams. Roll out into rectangle. Mix together cream cheese, bacon, and sour cream. Spread mixture on dough and roll up jelly roll style. Place seam side down and score in 8 places. Bake until golden and puffed. Let cool for 5 minutes and slice thru scoring areas to make individual rolls. Serve warm.

    Hot Artichoke Dip:

2 cans artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped

    1 clove garlic, minced

    1 T lemon juice

    1 T hot sauce

    1/2 cup good mayonaise

    1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 4 oz can diced green chilis

Mix the above together and place in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbling. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips.

My grandmother made, and now I make, what she calls "hanky pankies." They are delicious!!! It is my absolute favorite Christmas appetizer. It would be delicious all year round, but for some reason we only have it on Christmas!

    1 lb. ground beef

    1 lb. sausage

    1 lg. Velveeta cheese

    1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

    1 1/2 tsp. thyme

    1 loaf little rye bread

Brown ground beef and sausage together then drain grease off. Add thyme and garlic powder to meat. Next add Velveeta cheese (cut into small chunks). Cook this with the meat mixture until cheese is melted. After meat and cheese are cooked together, put on rye bread and bake for 10 minutes or until brown, at 350 degrees.

    Hope this helps!!

    Merry Christmas!!

I like anything on a stick (fondue qualifies). With cheese fondue you have lots of great options, btw! You can serve mini potatoes that have been boiled (or just boiled cubes of big potatoes), raw veggies like carrot, celery, cauliflower, broccoli and (surprisingly good) mushrooms, or (REALLY good, not kidding) sliced/cubed apples. You could make some appetizer kebab-y thing ... take skewers and let your imagination run. Skewer fruit for a dessert kebab, or skewer little mozzarella balls with tomato and olives. You could bake a tasty pizza, too, and cut that up into squares about 2" each side. If you have many shot glasses to serve it in, soup becomes a finger food, and it looks fancy in that presentation. Choose one with a lot of flavor, since you'd be serving it probably warm/room temp instead of hot. I think that corn chowder or zesty black bean might be good, or butternut squash soup. Good Luck! What you have sounds tasty.

    Bacon Wrapped Smokies

    1-2 packages of little smokies

    1-2 lbs of bacon

    brown sugar

Cut the bacon strips into thirds

Wrap each smokie in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick

Place them on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with brown sugar

Bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes then turn them over and sprinkle a bit more brown sugar on them and bake for about 15-20 more minutes. Kind of labor intensive, but really easy, bite sized finger foods that kids and adults love. I usually get asked to bring them to gatherings.

    Meatballs

I'm usually short on time, so I don't make homemade meatballs, but I buy the big frozen package from Sams Club

In crock pot melt together 1 jar grape jelly, 1 jar chili sauce, 1 tbsp Worcheshire sauce, 2 tbsp spicy brown mustard and about 1 tsp garlic salt. Brown the meatballs and then dump them into the crock pot with the sauce. These are sweet, sticky and tangy!

Like, as an occasion, they have a yuletide tree formed cheeseball and a snowman formed cheeseball. additionally they have some rather delicious finding recipes. human beings on the positioning have tried, a minimum of a few of them, and rated them on ease and style. there is likewise a recipe called long previous in 60 seconds it rather is extremely sturdy. The "purple warm Lover" jam is what makes it so sturdy. i will often locate it at gourmand shops or forte shops, and don't could desire to reserve it on-line. It has pecans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, eco-friendly onions and the jam.
