How many people out there have such pitiful lives that who know how many hundreds of you are asking the same?

ignorant question; some variation of "do you think Bush deserved what happened with the Iraqi journalist throwing shoes at him" or "what do you think of'...etc". Get a life-open your eyes. There are a lot of intelligent people on Y Answers- why not use this forum for interesting, informative questions and answers instead of acting like kindergartners who are thrilled to have discovered flatulence and can't stop giggling about it?

Update:

John M. and Tigerlil: touche'. This is a public forum and we all have the right to read or not read anything we wish. To step down from my "grumpy" perch, I guess what I am asking is why there are dozens or more people asking the exact same questions, eg. "don't you think it's funny", "did anyone wlse here about it", etc. You are right, sarcasm was not the best way to respond; I would just like to see these discussions go beyond shoes and how silly you think the president looked (the point is made, thanks) and maybe develope an objective discussion of WHY you think the Iraqis felt that way (and if there is objective proof that the majority do feel that way) and mature discussion of whether the war was right or wrong (not just that people were killed. This happens in any war; how many were lost in WWII? You never hear people disagree that it was a just war.) The discussion should include what good has been accomplished as well as the harm that has been done. God Bless

A lot of people here on Answers are immature and would rather belittle somebody than actually attempt to delve into the " hows and whys " of an incident such as the shoe throwing fiasco. For what it's worth, I pretty much agree with what you've said...

Well, good morning, sunshine! Did we wake up on the grumpy side of bed or what?! I would propose, Kris R., that you can catch more flies with honey might be the way to prompt intelligent discussion. Degrading folk by polling those with so-called "pitiful lives" will only prompt what you are not seeking. Peace.

PS: I'm not asking a shoe-throwing related question, so I guess my answer would be: "Not I!"

    Yeah but it was HILARIOUS!

Why shouldn't he have shoes thrown at him? He deserves it. How would you feel about him if you were Iraqi and your country was in tatters down to his policies?
