is it in poor taste to choose your own present during?

a game of white elephant? People are giving me grief for choosing and keeping my own present. I say, who cares?

    If it's what you like then I don't see the problem really! It's supposed to be for fun, obviously people are taking it way too seriously!

    yes it's in poor taste unless your gift really sucks and you're doing everyone else a favor.
