You should check with the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok, check the website for information on renewing your visa. Just google Chinese Embassy Bangkok.

No, unfortunately, the Chinese policy has changed in the last year. Unless you have an official residence status or residence visa for Thailand, you will have to process your visa in the United States or Hong Kong.

Yes you can renew your Chinese Visa at the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. Be prepared for some pretty long wait times.

I would think so if you are staying for a significant time period and have the proper documents.

However, I would personally e-mail the Chinese embassy or even Thai embassy in the US or Thailand.
