Asking what the best ANYTHING is will get you more answers than respondents.
I've heard Gold-Dot is best, as well as Glasers, hollow-points, FMJ.... one guy recommended exploding rounds once.
Short answer, shot placement is more important than caliber or bullet type.
Shoot what your gun can cycle, and what you can use to hit consistently.
Also, practice with your carry ammo occasionally. Don't carry a mag of Black Talons, but only practice with Winchester or Georgia Arms ammo.
Yeah, I know going through a few loads of BTs is EXPENSIVE, but all that money you saved won't do you much good if you can't hit someone trying to cause you harm, now will it?

Winchester silvertips, CorBon, Speer Gold Dot. yet i think of all however the Winchester is a plus P around. it particularly is kinda frustrating to discover a good overall performance protective around in 9mm that isn't a plus P cartridge. Is there some reason you do no longer wanta +p or +p+ around? The milleniums are rated for top stress ammunition.

I own that same gun and I use Winchester hollow points for home protection and target shooting.
