Do women molest children as often as men?

That is an excellent question. Yes, there are female child molesters. It is how they are perceived by society and handled by the justice system that differs.

When a man does it, he is vile, no questions asked, no possible explanations and there are not. However, when a woman does it the media sometime turns them into some kind of forbidden love folk hero i.e. Mary Kay Letourneau. If you take that same situation and reverse the genders, he would still be in prison. There would have been no wedding and happily ever after.

In general women are not perceived as predatory. They are mothers and nurturers so it is difficult for people to see women that way. Same as serial killers, there are female serial killers and have been since the beginning of time.

Child molestation is is not about sex, it is not about love. These people are drawn to the innocence of a child and the control. It is a compulsion that they cannot stop. They have done interviews with child molesters who have said that if there are released from whatever type facility they are in, it will not be if they reoffend, but when.

Right now there is no way to stop it other than being as proactive as possible as parents and reducing the chance for a child to be a victim.

But sadly, when the victim and the predator are under the same roof that is often impossible to do until the damage has been done.

Woman Molests Child

Yes. No matter the gender, age, race, anyone can be a child molester. Both do a lot, I'm not sure but I believe that men do more often as the women do. Yeah, people seem to hate it but some are like "But it's not my problem" or don't know what to do about it on some cases. To the other people who are saying how can women be molesters, wow yall must live in a different world or something.Just because they're female doesn't mean they're all going to be nice and they don't have to have a penis to mess with the child but they can do other inappropiate things to one like having oral sex with them,fingering, even use a sex toy on them of whatever sexual desire they want to do with them and think of.

I am a man. i got molested by a teenage girl babysitter when i was 8. Yeah it happens quite often but in my case i enjoyed it. (which can happen if the molester is known friendly and gentle) I up and did'nt realise i had been molested until i was much older. By then i couldnt remember exactly which of my babysitters it was. I dont thing my story is unusual, i have met other men who "got lucky" early in life with much older women and they dont seem to connect their dreadfull problems in romantic relationships with this early abuse. Screwed my life up thoroughly.

They don't, but it may not be reported as often. The reason why might have to do with breastfeeding. Some women may do it while they're children are toddlers, and people just take it in stride. Most don't wonder if the woman is getting any "enjoyment" out of it, especially if she's breastfeeding a kid old enough to go to school.

Another reason is because it's not as obvious. A woman can't penetrate anyone unless they're using fingers, but since it's common for kids to "explore" themselves, no one takes notice.

I dont think anyone knows for sure because its such a "hushed-up" crime. If a woman seduces a young boy, its easilly kept quiet because the boy was seduced not forced. When a man does the same thing, its usually forced and that makes it more difficult to keep secret. The scar left by those who prey on young people is outragous. They only think of themselves and not what harm they do.

It is rare for women to molest. It does happen, though. There is a woman in my community that is a molester (worked at a daycare), and there are hundreds of men. The only way we can stop molesters is to kill them. Or put them away FOR GOOD! They keep letting them out in like 2 months so they can do it again. People should start taking the law into their own hands when necessary.

Only way to stop is instead of just a slap on the hand or a little jail time They all should be executed. (For those who may say castration) Do you really think that the male/female genitalia are to be blamed solely? think bout it ...just because someone don't have their c.o.k doesn't' mean he won't do it again.Their SICK in the head...EXECUTION!

I don't understand how anyone could do that, maybe they don't have kids of their own, so they have no care.

It is just uncalled for. I think these bad people need to go to church, but maybe that won't even help.

Maybe they need to be canned like in Singapore, then maybe they will think about their crime against God.
