Help, I'm a cave-woman when it comes to computers...?
So I just bought a Macbook (which I love, but am still trying to figure out). I have a 32" Sanyo LCD tv that has a PC input, but I have NO idea how to use that thing. I would love to be able to use this TV as a monitor. What plug/cables/connectors do I need? How the heck does this work? What do I need to do?
I'm not particularly tech-savvy so any info you could provide would be a huge help! :) Thanks!
The tv is: Sanyo 32" Class LCD HDTV w/ Digital Tuner, DP32648
And I have no idea what DVI and VGA is. (sigh) :(
Thanks for the help!!!

#1) To hook it up via VGA: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9320G/A
#2) To hook it up via DVI: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9321G/B
#3) To hook it up via HDMI the same as #2 above with one of the cables at the bottom of this page: http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.as... (where it says: "28AWG HDMI-DVI Cables")
If you add the exact model of your LCD TV, I would be happy to leet you know what it is capable of handling as far as connections and to modify my reply.
******* EDIT *******
Here is a link off Wally-World that shows pictures of your TV.
http://walmart.scene7.com/walmart/flash_zoom.jsp?c...
Click the one that shows the input panel - the picture with all the places tio plug things in.
You can support 2 HDMI imputs - those are small and thin. they are clearly labeled.
DVI can be adapted ti HDMI which means you really want option #3 above for the best results.
Please note that your Macbook will only send out the video signla via the adapter - you would need a seperate cable to run the audio out from your laptop to the TV. Of course, if you are simply sitting down in front of the TV and working directly on your laptop, then no need for extra sound.
Notice that in the picture you would run the cable into the HDMI port, and a seperate sound cable into the corresponding Red/White audio in plugs. The cable for the audio would look something like this: http://www.cablesnmor.com/mini-stereo-rca.html one end goes into your laptop (like aa headphone) and the other has the Red/White to go into your TV.
