HELP! Fiance' was just told tonight that as of Dec.31st his compnay is closing their doors for good....?
Ive heard that when I company goes belly up there is a program here in Michigan that will pay to send you to school so you can be educated in a new career...Ive searched but I cant find anything was hoping maybe some of you online buffs could helpme find something....stressin out MAJORLY due to fact that because of child support his u/e will be VERY small & we need to be able to pay our bills of course. Please any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Exit interview??? your joking right? this compnay just dropped a bomb that they are going bankrupt & shutting the doors without warning & you think thery are really gonna take time to try to HELP anyone out or offer them advice? Come on now....sorry Im stressin & a lil cranky but there will be no "exit interview"

I see that you are living in Michigan, your better off leaving the state. If I had the money I would, Michigan is one of the most corrupt and greedy states I have ever lived. Unfortunately you are on your own the state will not help they look for ways to cheat you out of your money, like the driver responsibility act, or if your on FMLA you do not get unemployment no matter how long your on FMLA you do not get any type of pay I know because I have been on FMLA since October and been denied.

Go to the college or university where he would like to receive retraining. The financial aid office will kill themselves getting this information for you. After all, it means money coming into the school.
