I have a japanese maple tree that is approximatly 4-5 years old...its planted in my back yard & until this year has been doing well. It shows no signs of pests but is droopy & the bottom branches are dry & dying. Can anyone please give me some advice? I can provide pics if needed....

Hi! Just this mornign we rescued an appriximatly 1-1.5 yr old female springer spaniel. Shes very sweet tho does seem to want to show dominance over our 10 yr old pug. I have a couple questions Im hoping to get some guide line answers to so we can begin to train & mold our new pup into a good family dog. 1) I do believe her to be underwieght can anyone please telll me how much a 1-1.5 yr old field style (F)springer should weigh? Also what is the best way to go about training her? She knows some basic commands but we will NEED to further her training to keep all parties happy & healthy.

Im also thinking shes was used as a breeder, I have no way of knowing for sure but in my opinion she has had more than 1 litter of pups already, she will be spayed soon but for now hes not. Can overbreedin cause loos of hair & deficiencies in the body? Her coat seems to be shiny & soft, but sparse & the underneath part of her tail is basicaly bald. I do know that she was runnig the street for an unknown time so Im chalking up some of the hair issues to lack of care & proper diet but Id like other opinions. I dont hv and pic as I am @ work currently but I can provide them to anyone who may be able to help me & needs to see her to help figure out what shes got going on. As I said she will be going to the vet soon, but Id like to try to figure some of these things out for myself or at lesast hv a general knowledge as to what is going on wither her. If you can provide w w any info no the breed (aside akc website & all that, Il already read these) Im looking for personal knowledge fro experience with the breed please, thank you

Ok so we purchased our first house this past fall & we applied for the incentive tax plan. Im trying to figure out when we will receive our check. Ok so here's the situation....bought this stuff called Silver Dip....you dip your silver jewerly in the container w this little tray that comes inside. You just dip it quickly & then wash it in warm soapy water & VIOLA! your silver shines like never before. The stuff smells AWEFUL (ok WORSE than aweful) but needless to say your silver looks GREAT! Problem?? Yeah we all know silver will blacken if left sitting & unused over some time....well I hadnt worn any of mine in several months (like about 7-8 months) & now when I go to shine it up w a shinig cloth it stays blackened & hiddeous!!! WTF happened to my silver & PLEASE tell me I can fix it.....Thanks♥

wanting to know peoples experience. We have a 2 yr old DSH, neutered, very playful. Adopting a new kitten in the very near future, do you think a male or female will be more accepted? Gromit is not possessive ot ill tempered. Hes not a mams boy or cuddly cat....he likes to play (a bit rough at times0 with us & our 9 year old pug. He is more of a loner than a in your face cat...

you know where you collect all of your urine over a 24 hr span & turn it in for tests & evaluation to your Dr. Wellll, my stupid self accidentally forgot to pee in the pee-catcher & went in the toilet ( you know like a normal person LOL) Sooo...I dumped out the urine & figured Id start over. Now my BF is stressing telling me I cant use the same container, that it will be contaminated & will err my results. He says the very small amounts of urine in there will turn in to bacteria. I told him Id just wash it out w HOT water but he says then the urine will be contaminated by chemicals in our water & my results will still be tainted. BUT in the instructions given to me with the urince container say if I run out of room in the container that I can use an empty milk container or something like that as long as all the urine is kept COLD & that it is brought to the lab the same day i finish the test. So if I start on Sun AM & take the urine to the lab on Mon...I should be fine? Do I need to be worried about the VERY small amounts of tap water that may remain in the collection jug?

Ok so Ill try to make this short as possible. Have 2 kitties, Fat Kitty (Misty) & Skinny Kitty (Gromit)...thought Fatty was sick took her to vet, found out "No" shes just too fat to clean herself properly, hence irritated anal glands. Ok, switch kitties to a wet food only diet per the vet. Problem 1: Skinny WONT eat the wet food, wants dry food. Fatty on the other hand eats it ALL, Skinnys too if you dont watch her. Moved dry food to basement where Fatty doesnt go but Skinny hangs out A LOT. Left bowl of dry food out so Skinny can eat at leisure as this is his prefered habit.(Fattys eats all at once, Skinny grazes thru day) Well Fatty caught on & now we are in a dilema as to how to provide Skinny w the food he needs & at the pace he's like to eat it (if possible) and NOT let Fatty get fatter & turn into a living orb of furr (with a dirty bum I might add =P ) Misty(Fatty) is fed twice a day & I was hoping to be able to leave Gri]omits food out for him to eat but since that wont work is there ANY one whos delt w this type of thing & could offer ANY advice? Thanks♥

Ok Ok so I KNOW why kitty has diahrea, Im an idiot & switched her to a wet food diet without intergrading her foods so her system got used to it & well now she has the squirts. :(

So anyways I was hoping MAYBE someone on here might know something I can give her to help slow it down or make her more comfortable? Please, dont lecture me, Im a veteran pet owner & REALLY should know better but well......I REALLY messed up. Please help if you can, I feel really bad for kitty AND teh BF who is stuck at home this am while Im at work having to clean it ALL up. Thanks.

My British Shorthair Misty is a bit overweight, she was like this when we got her & tho Ive been trying to slim her down, she is a sneeky one. Anyways, I just needed to note that she is a bit portly before I went on....despite her buddah like belly(add to that a spay belly) as of latley she seems to look a bit rounder. Also her poo had been smellier than normal & upon further examination I found some poo stuck to the hairs by her bottom. I cleaned her bottom & gave her a sanitary clip to help prevent this. ( I know sometimes Garfiled-esk kitties can have a hard time cleaning thoroughly)...well while cleaning her butt with a wet wash rag I was applying presure & some puss came out. Not a large amount but puss is puss none the less & indicates infection. It does not appear to come out of the anus but more like an abrasion or sore just inside. SHE HAS A VET APOINTMENT this Tuesday & other than the fact there is puss in no way seems to be uncomfrotable or ill. She is eating, drinking, & pottying normally...her actions are normal & if not for the more potent smelling poo that led me to think to check her bum I wouldnt have noticed her different in any way. Im just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this & can maybe give me an idea as to what Im looking at......its been suggested an infected anal gland or possible blockage. As I said shes going to the vet Im just concerned & curious if anyone has experienced anything like this in their own kitties.....Thanks♥

Hi! I have a very vocal kitty and while this is cute sometimes Im wondering how I can train him to not be SO vocal ALL the time.....we love him dearly but its not necessary for him to YEOWL at all times of the day ALL the time...you tell him to shoosh, tried the squirt bottle nothing seems to help.....its just very frustrating at times & Im hoping someone can offer a bit of advice on the best training method to teach kitty its not polite to yell all the time LOL thanks☺

Ok so I have british Shorthair named Misty & when I got her back in July 08 she had several patches of hair missing from where she had licked it off. I did some research & found this is called "mowing" and is usually done because the cat itches. We ruled out fleas & mites, no mange, no dermatitis...so, we decided to change her food thinking it may be food allergies. All seemed to be going good thn out of the blue it happened again but worse, this time small abrasions appeared too. Well we decided to switch to Blue Sensitive Skin, its been just under 2 weeks & her patches seem to be clearing up & HOLY CRAP her fur is SOOO soft!!! She was VERY soft before but now its SO silky soft I can barely stop petting her! Can such a HUGE difference happen in under 2 weeks??? Im in awe & utter amazement really.....now THAT IS for sure some great food!!! GO BLUE!!!☺♥

Im so happy Ive switched my pug to Blue too!!! Hopefully Im right in my thinking & it will effect her the same!

He looks JUST like this except he doesnt have the hood & his tail is longer & prettier. And to add to the puzzle he is now developing eye sacs like a Bubble Eye but of course he's not abubble eye as he has a dorsal fin & in no way is he slow swimmer. So can anyone tell me why with American currency(coins) the nickles & pennies are smooth on the edges & the quarters, dimes & 1/2 dollars are ridged? Also Ive noticed that ALL nickels weighs .5 grams but quarters tend to weigh in a range of weight?? Just thought ALL coins of one kind weighed the same & thats how vending machines know if they are real or fake??? Thanks in advance.☺

There is 2 of them, one is a healthy vibrant green leafy guy & the other is a deflated wilted old nasty brown green leafy guy? So WTF are thye suppossed to BE? I mean I dont recall any LEAFY fruit???
