How come today's music ain't got the same soul?

nicely, i'm definately nevertheless in this facet of the hill {i'm under 30}, i will at situations be slightly classic in my perspectives, yet i think of that finally that's the case that a majority of music from the final nine years {not all of it, there is a few large stuff available}... "ain't have been given an identical soul"

If you literally mean soul music, well, I suppose times have changed.

But if you're speaking figuratively, there are plenty of musicians/bands out there who put passion into their music. They just won't be found on the radio or TV.

The souls who created the old time music are not creating music today. They are the "Greatful Dead!"

Because everyone wants to sound like everybody else... no originality!
