Why do you come to this site?

I am here because I like to ponder these subjects.

I have an open mind about God, spirituality, and religion.

I enjoy debate in general.

I don't think you must believe in a biblical, fire-and-brimstone God to have relevant thoughts about spirituality.

I am entertained by the feeble-minded answers some people give.

I believe I have something important to say about this topic, just like you.

Just because someone does not believe in your god or even a god does not mean they can not be spiritual. Hence religion AND spirituality. I don't believe there is an all powerful being watching over us. But I believe in a energy that flows through the universe. You could call that god but trust me the people here do not accept you unless you fit into a certain label of a religion. I am a very spiritual person but I do not believe in your definition of god, heaven, hell, bible. Also this is a place were you can get answers from all view points. Though you may not like it atheism is a view point and it should be heard.

This is an open forum on the subject of religion and spirituality. As so, all are welcome. Since the format is question/answer, it is only natural that all kinds of different questions would be asked, religious or non-religious. Then of course, people have answers to the questions, again, some religious and some non-religious. Many religious people have never been exposed to atheists or people of other religions than their own. Many atheists have never been exposed to religious people. As you can see, we sometimes don't get along well...lol. I'm atheist. I try to maintain a dialogue with the religious (usually Christians) and my fellow atheists here. I try not to get angry, but if you look carefully at my answers, you will see that I do have a temper. You may notice that atheists do not have their own category here, so many of us do hang here. Since it is an open and public forum, people can do as they like (within the bounds of good taste and decorum). There are good and bad people everywhere, including here. While a majority people on this site are predominantly christian, there are other religions and spiritual beliefs represented here too.

Sometimes the topics are posed those that don't believe, some are posed to those that do but relate to a situation some have been in whose experience might give some comfort/advice etc.

Various reasons. To get a laugh mostly, but there's also gaining knowledge. Not from the religious side you understand, but because when they ask stupid questions I can look things up and learn something new.

It's also interesting to see a different point of view, even if I don't agree with it, and listen to the rational (although they're few and far between) arguments for their own beliefs. I'm not talking rational because I believe it, but well thought out and something more than 'because god said so'.

Not all religions believe in God, Heaven, Hell, or the Bible, only christianity does. This is not a Christian-only forum, it caters to all religions or lack thereof

I hope some of them are here seeking the peace that God offers, what really makes me mad are the Christians that do not love them as we are called to love.

To laugh and (ironically) to learn.

By the way, what makes you think that Christianity owns any sort of monopoly on a board that encompasses all religious faiths?
