What desktop wireless adapters (USB) work with the Verizon FIOS router?
Hello. I have a Verizon FIOS wireless router and a desktop without wireless. I need to connect the desktop to the wireless internet. I assume a USB network adapter should work. Can anyone tell me what USB adapters will work with the FIOS wireless router? Thanks!

The specs suggest the wifi part of the router they give you is the 'b' standard, the lowest available.

If you already have it installed look to see if it is b, g or n from the lit they give you. b is the shortest range, g has a larger range and n is the highest. Range is how far you can have the laptop from the router. Keep in mind that walls and that refrigerator really cut down the signal. Get a USB that can handle what your lit says. Theoretically an n adaptor should work with the other two but I see people having trouble with that.
The wifi can be troublesome in some houses. The wired is always less troublesome if you can arrange it.
